Senate Extends $8000 Tax Credit for New Home Buyers plus $6500 Credit for Repeat home Buyers

Great News Home Buyers and Sellers! 

The Senate has voted to extend the $8000.00 tax credit for first time home buyers to April 2010.  You must be in contract by this date and you have 60 days after this date to close.

What is new is that in addition Uncle Sam is offering a $6500 tax credit to repeat home buyers if you have lived in your previous home for at least five years.
