If you are looking for something a little more quiet than Astoria, you should strongly consider living in Jackson Heights. I have a few great apartments just off 30th Ave in Jackson Hts. This one in particular is close to 30th Ave and 69th Street. Although a bit of a distance to the subway, you will enjoy a quiet neighborhood with lots of character.
